Thermal and waterproof insulation works were completed for 12,192 m² at Warehouse F using Polyurethane Foam, an acrylic protective coating, and rainwater drainage treatment.
EMC carried out thermal and waterproof insulation works for the metal roof of Warehouse F at Arma Detergents & Soap Company, covering a total area of 12,000 m², with the aim of improving roof performance and protecting it against water leakage and harsh weather conditions.
The initial inspection revealed rust around several screw locations and the need for riveting and fastening works in some sections of the metal sheets. After preparing and stabilizing the roof, the rainwater drainage channels were inspected, cleaned, and waterproofed using a polyester system reinforced with fiberglass mesh, followed by the application of a Coat Bio layer for additional protection.
In the final stage, 30 mm (±5 mm) Polyurethane Foam was spray-applied to provide thermal and waterproof insulation, followed by an acrylic protective coating to protect the insulation system from UV exposure and weather conditions.
