Metal Roof Insulation Project – Al Zarqa Institute for Computer Science

The main challenge was the extensive corrosion and deterioration of the corrugated metal sheets, particularly around joints and fixing points. Some areas also contained perforations that could act as potential water leakage points, along with accumulated dust and deposits between several roof joints.

The roof was inspected to identify corroded, deteriorated, and perforated areas, followed by treatment and preparation of damaged sections, joints, and fixing points. Polyurethane Foam was then spray-applied to create a continuous thermal and waterproof insulation layer, followed by an acrylic protective coating for UV and weather resistance.

The project successfully delivered an integrated thermal and waterproof insulation system for the metal roof after treating the damaged areas. The completed system helps reduce water leakage risks, limit heat transfer, and provide additional protection against UV exposure and weather conditions.
